Kid's Convertible Daydream Dress / Skirt

This dress's silhouette was inspired by Levis x Ganni's dress (see picture in video). 

The best part of this dress is that my 5 year old, Mika helped paint clouds directly on it and the fit is convertible to a skirt!

Upcycling is a way to elevate what is existing / abandoned and give it a second life that’s more beautiful than the last. Every piece starts out as a treasure hunt with an imagination of what it could become. Although I may have specific ideas or designs assigned to every piece, it takes time to get it right with trial and error. That makes the process exciting and interesting as every piece is unique and one of a kind. 

With history and the essence of a past era, you may see stains or imperfections. They are just unique assets and a reminder that this was once well lived. Now go on and play in the sand, dance with ice-cream on your hands and leave traces of your own.
