I originally wanted to make a regular Buche de Noel - Yule log cake but since I have all the ingredients for tiramisu, I decided to be creative and make a tiramisu Yule log cake instead.
Starting out with a vanilla Swiss cake recipe and added mascarpone whipped cream in the center. And use the same mascarpone whipped cream but added extra chocolate to cover the outer later to create a visual of a log. Since the chocolate mascarpone whipped cream wasn't chocolatey enough, I drizzled more chocolate over it which turned out so beautifully! It made it even more realistic!
Normally others suggested to garnish it with sugared cranberries but since I had only blueberries, I improvised and used that instead. What do you think? Will you try it out yourself?
